Wedding Parties – Scotland Farm’s close proximity to the wedding venues of The Thythe Barn at Ditcham and the Manor Barn, Buriton plus the lovely churches of Hawkley, Selborne Petersfield, Alton and the surrounding villages make it the ideal location, including fabulous backdrops for all those special photographs, for a few days of preparation and relaxation before and after a wedding.

Green Tourism – Scotland Farm, participates in the Green Tourism Business Scheme. It has an environmental policy and is committed to providing good quality service whilst minimising the environmental impact.
farm wildlife Wildlife and Conservation- Part of the farm is designated a Site of Scientific Interest, comprising ancient woodland with specialist mosses and rare snails. It is a haven for wildlife where roe deer, badgers and foxes may be seen. A recent RSPB survey revealed over 50 species of birds including buzzards, nesting in the Hanger.
Business – all rooms have wireless internet access, satellite TV and a desk area. Conference facilities are available within the main farmhouse suitable for small business meetings. Fax, copying, secretarial and hospitality facilities can be arranged. internet access
hourse riding Riders – a fabulous network of bridle ways surround the farm. Bring your own horse and stay for a few days. Stabling and an indoor school are available as well as parking for your horse box or trailer. Ride along quiet country lanes or woodland tracks or access the The South Downs National Trail at Queen Elizabeth Park and ride from Eastborne to Winchester.William Cobbett penned ‘Rural Rides’ after his journey made in November 1822 from Hambledon to Thursley via Hawkley, and past Scotland Farm.
Cyclists, Walkers and Mountain Biking – Discover the East Hampshire Area of Outstanding Beauty - rolling hills, peaceful woodland, charming villages and sunken lanes. Secure storage available for bikes and drying facilities for boots and clothes plus route maps for exploration.

Walkers - A footpath crosses the farm, linking to The Hangers Way – a long distance path from Alton to Petersfield, but there are many other tracks and green lanes surrounding the farm, including the East Hants Literary Walks and the Rother Valley Walks. Walking,Riding and Cycling in East Hants

Wheelchair Access - All the accommodation is on the ground floor. There are wide doorways, wheelchair access to the guest sitting room and breakfast room and a level access shower.

Scotland farm was recently the overall winner in the East Hampshire Access to Service awards 2007.

dogs welcome Dogs welcome - Scotland Farm is a working farm with cattle, sheep, dogs and horses. Dogs are welcome, by arrangement, but must be kept under control at all times and are not permitted in the guest accommodation. Kennels are available.
